Alice.com Shuts Down
There is no official communication yet, but when trying to access Alice.com, you get the message “The site is currently unavailable”, and an email address to ask for previous orders. A few months ago Alice.com shut down their activity in Spain, and before they explained the situation, the message you could read in their website was quite similar.
Nacho Somalo, Alice.com’s president for the European Market, said that Alice.es closed due to lack of funding opportunities. Alice.com tried to reorganize its structure, and used the few funding yet available in their Spanish subsidiary to help their growth in the US market. But it seems they have not been able to do so.
[Update 1] When trying to access Alice.com’s twitter account (@alice), Twitter shows a “This account does not exist” message.
We will update this post when we are able to get official information from Alice.com team.
