BrainSINS 3.0: The easiest way to increase sales in your online store

It’s our birthday – 3 years ago, around this time of the year, we opened our first office. Our way to throw a birthday party is to launch the 3.0 version of BrainSINS, much easier to integrate and use. We hope you’ll like it as least as much as we do 🙂

What’s new in BrainSINS 3.0?

The main new feature in BrainSINS 3.0 is the dashboard interface that we offer to our clients. This dashboard has been redesigned to offer a much more usable tool, easy to configure and intuitive. These changes in usability entail significant changes when interacting with BrainSINS as well as for the possibilities of our online store tool from now on.

An unprecedented dashboard

Even though the BrainSINS 3.0 interface displays different options in the left-side menu (so that you can see the future evolution of the tool, although only the dashboard is currently active), all the functionality of BrainSINS 2.0 has been condensed, and, although simplified in terms of use, placed in the main dashboard. In this way, we have achieved two goals:

  • Offering an overview of your business, as well as how each BrainSINS personalization rule is working.
  • Enabling action on the personalization strategies from the same screen where the personalization strategies results are analyzed.

This synthesis (without losing any capabilities) allows us to continue to develop our personalization functionalities without making the interface too complex.

Your business and personalization strategy at a glance

The first dashboard interface element that you will find is a graph that shows clearly and directly the evolution of your online store in terms of sales, as well as what BrainSINS contributes to your global sales. In addition, you will find it easier to select the time period to analyze, and visual indicators that will enable you whether global sales and sales through personalization have improved or worsened with respect to the previous period. In this way, BrainSINS offers, in a visual and direct way, very valuable information to determine the validity of your capture and personalization strategies.

Quick account configuration

Another aspect that has been significantly improved is the configuration and adjustment of your account settings once you register with BrainSINS. The dashboard displays the 3 basic elements of your account settings, which are:

  • Your eCommerce platform (Magento, Prestashop, etc.) and the URL of your shopping cart, so we can redirect your users to this page in shopping cart recovery emails.
  • Basic visual settings, such as the type of fond and basic template (light or dark) to use to view both recommendations and shopping cart recovery emails.
  • Your online store logo, so we can include it in our email communications (shopping cart recovery, etc.)

Activating your personalization strategy

Activating the various personalization strategies in BrainSINS 3.0 is easier than ever before. In the new interface we have divided personalization rules into 3 large blocks, which correspond to the 3 products in the BrainSINS suite:

  • Product recommendations: so that personalized recommendations, complementary products, alternative products, etc. are shown in the different pages of your online store.
  • Shopping cart recovery: so that you can activate various shopping cart recovery emails and adjustments to the email delivery strategy.
  • Behavioral targeting: so that you can activate different website personalization strategies, to capture leads to the newsletter, change different aspects of the website, etc.

Each of these blocks makes it possible to easily activate or de-activate the various personalization rules. You “turn on” the personalization rule in question just by clicking on the switch and wait until it turns green, which will show when the chosen personalization strategy has been activated in your online store.

In addition, we can see how the recommendations in our webpage will look by clicking on the “Preview” button (a small gray eye between the switch and the analytics section).

Recommendations are shown by default in the page in a small emergent pop-up, above the usual page contents. In this way, integration is simplified in the first step with no need to define a visual style in detail. Clients usually want to have recommendations much more integrated in their websites. To do this, we offer the possibility of editing the visual style of recommendations in a second step. Just click on the “Edit” button and choose whether you want to continue to see recommendations in pop-up format or whether you want to see them 100% integrated in your website. You can even define their visual style, entering the HTML and CSS code that you will use to view recommendations.

Next to each rule you can see the aggregate results for each personalization result. If you want to see more detailed analytics, you can click on the analytics button (located between the edit and the quick view buttons), and the interface will show you a daily breakdown of the results.

Another of the main personalization strategy blocks is recovery of abandoned shopping carts. Activation of abandoned shopping cart rules follows a similar logic to that of recommendations: you just have to activate the rule and it will start to work straight away. On the basis of the store settings, BrainSINS will propose an email template for shopping cart recovery, which will help you if you don’t have a more elaborate design based on your online store image. If you want to use a different template or adjust the one provided by BrainSINS, you can click on the edit button and launch our WYSIWYG editor to easily and directly edit the template.

The last block of personalization rules is related to the Behavioral Targeting rules.  In a similar way to the previous blocks, you can activate and de-activate the rules that you want to use at any time.

As you can see, this new version of BrainSINS is a significant improvement with respect to the previous version, and we will continue to improve it over the next few months so we will continue to offer the best personalization solution in the market. We hope you will enjoy it!  🙂
